Toshiba laptop wireless internet connection?
I just received a Toshiba Satellite L305-S5947. I can't get onto the internet without using the ethernet chord directly from the modem. I have a Belkin router, but the laptop won't pick up my signal unless I plug it in. Yes, I have the little internet connection switch "on". Yes, I've repaired my connection and have restarted both the router and the modem many times. My laptop didn't come with a WLAN card, like my Dell. Am I missing something? What do I do?
My mom purchased it from ShopNBC, and they bragged about the wireless connection. No card or usb insert was mentioned, and didn't come with the product. How does that make any sense?
You need to have a wireless LAN card to be able to have a wireless connectivity .
