Centrino 2 platform and ATI 512 MB graphics help make the images more lifelike and add to the movie watching and gaming experience.

I own both a Sony Vaio and a Hp Pavillion, they're both fine laptops. Sony's do tend to be a bit overpriced, especially in Asia, and I've had a few more problems with my Sony than I've had with my Hp, all very minor though. I will say that Hp's support and service is way better than Sony's from my experience. I do think Hp's are better value and if I was to buy another laptop, I would probably choose Hp over Sony. I would just go for the one that gives you the best specs for your money and whichever one "feels" better to you, they're both good.
