This problem really came to me a few months ago, but I was able to remove and insert the power cord a few times and the message is going and I would able to charge my Dell Inspiron Battery 1525. But as one or two months passed, it became more meticulous, and I had to shake a little more, but still I was able to charge my battery and use my laptop wirelessly.
Now, today, I've been trying all day, and can not for the life of the battery to get me Dell laptop to load. I get the following message when I plug the cable in.
"The type of AC power adapter can not be determined. The the system will operate slower and the battery will not charge. Please connect a Dell AC Adapter 65 W or higher for best system performance. "
In addition, I think it is worth nothing that many people mention this error message while booting their laptops, mine comes once loaded View and I am trying to reinsert the cable.
So I tried a Dell charger, a 90 W of Dell Inspiron 1525 battery adapter, and the same problem occurs (My original is one of 65 W). I'm thinking about getting a different battery tomorrow to see if Inspiron 1525 is the battery, since life itself was rather low, up to half time just one per full load. My warranty, although I'm not sure the details, was not expired when the first problem arose, but now I would say two months expired at the latest.

We are responsible for parts and design, the failure of security costs rise. If your AC adapter needs to be replaced, I will happy to send the same to [out of date information deleted].

1. Updating the BIOS (I A01 A03 is out.) Ok, but I can not. To do this, you must have the battery and the Dell AC adapter plugged in or the update program gives an error and forces you to cancel.

1. Buy a Dell Inspiron 1525 new AC adapter
2. Connector cut, remove all the rubber connector, cut and remove the covering from the cable end (where the plug was cut) and then resolder the wire at pin slightly behind central, reconnect the existing + and - connections to the connector cable. Observe good soldering the wires connected again not to melt the insulation of any wires. When you finish using short films to check meters before reconnecting power. Also if you have any heat shrink tubing apply above all things that you just soldered. Otherwise use electrical tape. BE CAREFUL AND DO NOT WORK IN THE AC ADAPTER POWER ON. And do not forget to check the polarity of LA + + + + + + PLUS-MINUS AND CABLES.
3. Go on EBAY to find a new cable that goes between the adapter and the laptop and replace

what to do when my Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop lost all power?

My Dell Inspiron 1525 died. He had a critical error message and then went blank. No power, no light, no nothing. I took it to two repair shops, ie (Staples and independent shop) so said, because they could turn could not help me. The power adapter light is on and connected to notebook, but what I have to check now. Called Dell, 10 days out of warranty 1 year. They wanted $ 360 to talk to me before any help given.
