Bluetooth on a Presario R4000 laptop?
I have a Presario R4000 notebook (Win XP), I have heard that wireless technology has been incorporated the capacity of the network card bluetooth. I'm trying to connect to a Blackberry. The help menu tells me to open the Bluetooth connection on the control panel, but there is nothing like that in the control panel. Can anyone help with understanding how to enable this so that the two devices can communicate? In secondary is a USB connection, however my preference is to try to communicate using the wireless capabilities.
I think you may have been misled ... likely that has a USB dongle blue tooth so it can operate ... costs around 20:00 in computer stores, comes with disc to install ... then your bluetooth function fine. SI wi-fi is built into the computer, may or may not be installed blue tooth. One of the books in my tooth note has wi-fi and blue, the other only has wi fi, had to add usb key for blue tooth .. no problems. Good luck, Goldwing
