Review Laptops Toshiba
Can someone give me a review, from personal experience, on the Toshiba Satellite A-665 S-6088?
I'm trying to find my tech-savy Dad a great laptop for Christmas. He would prefer a Dell or a Toshiba with an optical drive and an i5 processor within the 700 dollar price range. I've looked at Dell, and wasn't impressed with the reviews. Then I finally found this toshiba and I can't find ANY reviews on it. Can anyone give me some input? Much thanks!
I haven't used this laptop personally but from personal experience, its always a gamble. I work in tech support and have seen the high and mighty fall just as hard as the cheaper computers. Ultimately, most manufacturers use the same exact parts so you're not getting anything terribly different. The big difference is how well they will service it when it breaks. Toshiba is decent in that regard. Some of their older laptops had terrible design which made working on them a pain, but they've rectified most of those issues. Computers are always a toss up cause some really are just lemons.
