ASUS Laptop Review UL30A-X5

The traditional laptop manufactures best care. ASUS has taken over the netbook market with a slim build, the elegant and timeless line of Netbooks and are now gunning for control of the notebook market with the ASUS UL30A-X5 has just been released. It has a feature that differentiates it from all other laptops available.

Last week I had to take a flight from California to New York. On this flight, I do Too often, I like to work a bit, watch a movie or two, and maybe play some games on my laptop. The flight takes about five hours.

Normally, I take my Dell Latitude notebook with me because this is where all of my work stored. halfway through the flight, the battery sends me signs of death and I have to put in the extra battery that I carry with me. In my particular Dell laptop, which boasted that the battery would last five hours. In fact, after a year of use, I have the luck to get 2.5 hours of battery life. Therefore, I have to carry a spare battery, which also runs in the 5 hour flight.

I looked at this simply as the pain necessary to do business on a long flight.

However, this flight would be different and much more enjoyable. I recently heard about a new line of laptops from ASUS and offered to give one a test drive for this trip. The model number on it was the ASUS UL30A-X5, which had just come out and promises to be the best laptop ready soon.

I have the largest evidence-based Netbook ASUS and loved it. In fact, often carry their model Netbook, voted the top Nominal Netbook with me for long battery life. However, for this trip, I needed a laptop of the law altogether, so I was happy to test-drive of its new model.

It has 12.5 hours of battery life, which simply blows away the competition! 12 hours with a battery - amazing. But is it true?

With laptops, I always want to know three things: battery life, aesthetics and support. The reason these Three things stand out is because everything else is equal. All internal parts in most laptops are exactly the same.

So my three questions are: Is the battery life as good as they say? Do I like to write about it and work on this machine? And if it blows up, Is there someone at the other end to help me?

The ASUS UL30A-X5 wins in all these categories. The battery lasted the duration of my flight and for 3 hours when I got home. intensive applications I used resource for 8 hours and the battery still humming - the best I've ever seen. Secondly, I like the style Chiclet keyboard but I'm not used to it. It was easy to write and overall appearance of the machine was great. In support question, I've never had anything goes wrong, so I never had to call ASUS, but they have a direct line 24 / 7 if necessary.

In short, the "large" computers laptops (Dell, HP, etc.) need to be careful. ASUS caught in the Netbook market and now can only do so in the portable market with the ASUS UL30A-X5. It is a laptop with a great look and is extremely competitive price, and battery life is blowing out of competition.

What is the best laptop performance / portability / battery life?

Hi folks, I'm going to Singapore in a couple of months and I am looking to buy a laptop and that obviously will be cheaper to buy there. I've been surfing the web for some time, looking for the best laptop around and have reduced to two companies: * Sony VAIO Notebooks - o - * Toshiba laptop of some sort. - O - * some good third-party that may be recommended. Now, I need a laptop that is suitable for use in Graphic Design 3D Animation /, so something that has a good graphics card and processor and lots of RAM and does not consume a lot of battery life (I know I'm asking a lot). Your comments / opinions / recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thanks! In addition, if you have a DVD drive and can play well, then that's a bonus!
