My Shopping Genie Review and Price Comparison - Does it Really Save You Money?

Having been given a free shopping genie member, I decided to do a search and see just how good it actually was and if it did everything it "said on the tin".

Well my son was heading off to University and needed a new laptop. We went to the store where we normally buy our pc stuff and saw the laptop he wanted and got their "very best price" which was "special" to me as I am a regular customer.

We told the retailer we needed to think about it and came home to see what the ShoppingGenie found. We typed the brand and model of the laptop into the search engine (I use Google) and pressed enter. In a flash the screen showed retailers and in most cases prices for the laptop. And guess what, most were actually cheaper than the "special loyality price" my usual guy was quoting.

We clicked on one particular link that was £148 cheaper and discovered it was a store only a 10 minutes drive from our home. So naturally we headed over there straight away to check it out, thinking that probably it didn't have the same software installed. But it did, it was exactly the same! So right there in the store I called my regular guy and told him I could buy it £148 less than he quoted. Oh he started saying that his was better, had more stuff in the package etc etc etc. After listening him rant and rave for a minute I just told him that after all these years I had trusted him to give me the cheapest prices but now thanks to a simple application on my computer I was taking my custom elsewhere.

Now after telling my husband about how the genie saved us £148 he is going to sign up as a distributor and start giving it to all our friends to help them save cash too. Best of all we will make some extra income from them using the genie.
