Asus have updated their W2 line of laptops by releasing the W2P, which builds on the popular W2J model and includes a HD-DVD slot drive.
The Asus W2P has obviously been designed around the idea of playing HD-DVDs and other media, the W2P is a great media system laptop. It supports HDCP, HDMI output, an impressive ATI Mobility Radeon X1700 256mb graphics, analog & digital TV tuner, Dolby surround sound and a 1,920 x 1,200 native resolution, which is ideal for HD content viewing.
As well as these great media specifications the W2P also has 802.11b/g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 and 2GB of SDRAM and uses the latest Merom Core 2 Duo CPUs with either 4 or 2mb L2 cache.

Fujitsu have announced the new LifeBook A series, it’s newest line of laptops. You can get the LifeBook A series A6010 with the Intel Core Duo CPU or you can go the AMD route with the A3110 and the Turion 64 X2. Both models have a 15-inch display with many memory card slots built in, 3 x USB, Firewire, and lifebook shock sensor wich will detect and protect your hard drive if your drop or impact the laptop. You can also upgrade the LifeBook A series by upgrading it’s battery to provide the laptop with an extra 4hours of warm power.
