7 simple ways of boosting your immune system against Avian Influenza

If nothing else, the avian flu crisis should remember that we should have our system immune for granted.

According to the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Michael Leavitt, will take 6 months after a contagious strain of influenza flu is isolated to sufficient doses of vaccine to inoculate everyone in the U.S.

At that time, the pandemic is over.

The message is clear - we are responsible for our own health.

1. Get 7 to 8 hours of sleep each night.

2. Moderate exercise.

4. Reduce alcohol of 0-3 ounces per day.

I'm not lecturing here. Alcohol is not immoral. But in larger quantities reduces your immunity.

5. So reduce the sugar. It weakens the immune system.

In fact, reducing all forms starchy carbohydrates - such as wheat (yes, even whole wheat), rice and other grains.

6. Take a good multi-vitamin/mineral. At a minimum, need vitamin A, vitamin C, zinc and selenium.

7. Wash your hands during the day.

Her skin is part of your immune system - and to play to people infected and objects with your hands is the most common way of catching colds and flu.

Wash away the virus - wash hands thoroughly with soap and water for 30 seconds time.

Face it - you are under constant attack by germs. Bacteria, viruses and parasites want to eat you and many of them are going to do ill.

In addition, avian flu, we are faced with attacks by a wide range of previously unknown emerging infections such as West Nile fever West. Plus new threats that the resurgence of physicians, such as tuberculosis.

And bacteria are increasingly resistant to antibiotics.

Even if avian flu never becomes a problem in your area, you need a strong immune system to fight disease.

How long is Quaranta in the UK. / I send my daughters to his dog.?

My daughter went to go and stay in the UK from SA on Tuesday 6 ยบ. I'm looking after Scotty pending completion of all inoculations. The dog is flying in a month. Which is the procedure in the UK when the dog is there. I've heard to keep it in kennels for 6 months. It seems far away. Does anyone know the facts. Thanks
