HP Laptop Drive AMZK3000I00 labeled ... is it legitimate?

Pavilion DV8235NR Drive died. Which HP sent replacement does not work (restore DVD's say not for this PC). Original drive in "refurbished" label is only AMZK3000I00 laptop. Help-phone help HP do not seem to know what is happening either!

You may need to "tattoo" the drive for the computer to accept it as a legitimate drive. Contact the representative and ask them about a tattoo program and if the drive may not have been tatoo'd correctly.
