I bought a refurbished Dell Latitude C840 off eBay. I'm looking to replace the DVD ROM more old that is in the unit now has a new CD / RW DVD Drive. This eBay seller selling the unit to make sure others suggests that it is compatible. Does anyone know if a laptop Dell Latitude C840 accept: new drive: TEAC DVD-ROM and CD-R/RW DRIVE FOR LAPTOPS DW-224E Manufacturer: Dell 1977098C seems to charge for applications customer service, very sure someone here knows the answer.
