AMD launches new processors for laptop to close the gap with Intel

I have a Dell Vostro 1500 for about 7 months. It is not my primary computer, but still often used. Mine comes with 2 GB of RAM, a 120GB hard drive. Apart from these differences, mine has the same specs as yours. I like a lot, but I want to point out a couple of things. When I ordered mine, different variations of the display is available. I went with the WXGA TrueLife. While not bad, not the best either. I learned that I do not like glossy screen used in the TrueLife screen (although that is personal preference ... some people love bright LCD and some hate them). Also, while all LCD screens I've used do not always show dark black or dark colors contrast perfectly, I realized it was a bit more evident than my old laptop screen laptop. However, I'm not sure if using the WXGA + or WXGA TrueLife monitor without change this or not. But do not take this as me saying that the screen is horrible or unused. I'm just saying I've used better. When I got it had Vista Home Basic installed, but also had some Dell software media that allow you watch the music video / dvd 's and play on your computer without fully booting windows. Presumably to save battery life and be faster than booting the windows completely. However, to install this software on the company, installing media software on its own partition.
