Out of sparks when the AC adapter from the laptop is connected?
When I plug my laptop adapter, causing sparks at the start. Some say the normal, but do not want to take any chances. But when connecting other devices on the same outlet, no spark. What are the possible reasons for the spark, and what are the ways on how to minimize the spark? I've tried plugging the adapter into the power outlet before connecting it to my laptop but still had the same problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If I'd have to give a reason that I would have to say is a thing of earth. The spark of electricity to arc to the metal on the plug, simply means that a resistance is low enough power adapter to attract a very small distance. Now why I said to ground, electricity will always take the path of least resistance to ground so I bet it is for a computer portable and there is no battery, among other things, designed to protect the equipment to ground current step better than average teams.
