Immunizations For Travel
Could you work in a foreign country to pay for the trip?
Of course you can! There are plenty of opportunities for travelers who want to work abroad, especially if you speak English or even better, are bilingual. But to work abroad, there are some things to consider before you go.
1. Find out if the Americans can work in the country intends to travel. Not all countries allow foreigners to work there, while they are visiting.
2. Get a work permit. This documentation is different from your passport or visa. You can arrange a work permit before you leave home or once they arrive the country you want to work, which will depend on where you work.
3. If you are a student travel may be easier to get work through a student exchange plan of work. Or you may even be able to arrange a transfer through his company to work abroad. If so, all leg work will be done for you.
4. If you have a particular job in mind, in a particular country, then you have to do some research and in contact with potential employers before you go. If you find someone you want you use before leaving their trips, get to send him a letter offering employment, with a copy to their respective governments. You will then be issued with a work permit for that country.
5. Consider volunteering in your travels. Volunteer organizations are looking for helpers to assist in programs around the world. You will be paid by the organization (usually only transport accommodation costs and meals), not the country you are visiting. You do not need a work visa to volunteer in these programs.
If you go to work abroad during the journey register with the nearest embassy in the country you are visiting. Make sure you know about the country that will work in. see if a travel advisory, political instability and cultural conditions you should know before you go. What shots do you need? Find out about local laws, including employment laws. And do not forget that while earning an income abroad, you will be subject to the tax laws of that country.
Will you need to drive for work abroad? If so, will have to find an international driving permit. You also must carry your driver's license valid American. All countries handle driving a little different, to see what the rules will have to comply to drive in their country of choice.
Working for the trip is a great way to immerse yourself in the culture of the country you are visiting. Arranged if want your money to subsidize the travel budget this way. Do not forget you can always offer to work in shelters, in return for cheaper (or free) board as a way of supplementing their travel expenses.

what vaccines, if any, do you need to travel to China?
In fact, I've been to China several times before and never bothered to get any immunizations. But now everyone seems to tell me to get the vaccines. What are really needed? Also what are needed for children (under 5)
None nessessary .. But the WHO reports cases of typhoid and flu are the most common things people .. Just to be on the safe side, you can get the flu shot (which should get it anyway ..) and typhoid shot .. If you are paranoid, it would have the Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B shots .. They are independent and have a sequence so you should do so before leaving .. As your doctor for some Tamiflu (which is good to have in case you get to the symptoms of influenza) .. its also the only combat bird flu (which is very very very odd .. even though the media that hypes much ..).. I also get a supply of cipro is good for traveler's diarrhea when your stomach does not agree with the food .. Most likely you will not need any of these medications, but is better than be provided .. just in case ..
